CASISD and Springer Nature Signed MOU for Cooperation
Prof. PAN Jiaofeng, president of the Institutes of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) jointly with Arnout Jacobs, president of Springer Nature Greater China, during his visit to CASISD in Beijing on October 29. Under the MOU, CASISD and Springer Nature will explore further cooperation opportunities on a broad range of areas.
“It is inevitable to establish a partnership between CASISD and Springer Nature, due to the goals, reputation and vision of both sides” Pan said. “More attention should be paid to the impact of science on economy and society, so as to study the S&T innovation policies and development strategies, which are of great significance to scientific development and social progress.”
Arnout also expressed the willingness and confidence to the cooperation, and hope to gain some achievements with international influence together in future.
