Starting from March 2023, SUN Xiaolei, professor from the Institutes of Science and Development of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD), serves as a Co-Editor of International Journal of Emerging Markets and an associate editor of Expert Systems with Applications. 

SUN is engaged in research areas on risk modeling and analysis, decision making, country risk governance, energy security and economics. She has authored and participated in over 40 policy recommendations, and has published more than 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is currently a member of the council of Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics (CSOOPEM), and the secretary general of Youth Branch of CSOOPEM. 

International Journal of Emerging Markets is a JCR Q2 and SSCI journal published by Emerald, publishing rigorous theoretical and empirical research on emerging markets from multidisciplinary (economics, finance, marketing, and management) and multinational geographic perspectives.
